Our friends at Wild Bill’s know how to have a good Fight!

Friday Night, Jan 27th, 2012 was once again a thrilling night. Eight bouts of great action. Some of the bouts where over quick (35 seconds to be exact) and the main event went down to undisputed (29-28) decision.

Door opened for fight night at 7:30 and first fight actually started about 9PM. And of course we always have to visit my favorite hot bartender Geoff Kirby (he is at the middle level bar for those who want to go see him). We at PrimetimeX Magazine were lucky enough to have VIP tickets, which if and when you can purchase them, please do. In the VIP area, we had the food from Hooters and other vendors and it is so worth the price of the ticket. Plus, helps if you want to get “your drink on”, they have plenty to eat. Our seats on the floor, near the ring ,were amazing. You can see the intense look on each of the fighters faces before they enter the ring. The “eye of the tiger” look is very contagious if you have a favorite fighter. It was hard for most, including me, to stay in your seats once the fight started.

Fighters came from all over Georgia to compete. One fighter was actually from Queens, NY. With amateur and pro fighters there, it was a fairly packed house and you can feel all the energy in the room. The night was scheduled for 9 bouts but only 8 happened.

Fight 5 : 117 lbs: Amateur MMA (women’s fight) Ivey Turner – Legacy Fight Club v. Moe Travis – Knuckle Up Fitness   Winner!!! Moe Travis

Fight 6: 137 lbs: Pro MMA – Jesse Wable – Full Throttle Fitness v. Andrew Higgins – Independent   Winner!!! Andrew Higgins

Fight 7: 176 lbs: Pro MMA Dustin Chovanic – Legacy Fight Club v. Shawn Snow – Valdosta Martial Arts Center   Winner!!! Shawn Snow

Fight 8(listed as 9): 160 lbs: Pro MMA  - Main Event – Ronnie Rogers – Hit Squad v. Joe Elmore – X3 Sports   Winner!!! Joe Elmore

The next Fight night is schedules for Friday March 9th, 2012 where the main event will be the #1 fighter in Georgia,  Brett Chism – The Hardcore Gym , facing off against #2 fighter, Dave Vitkay – Knuckle Up Fitness.

It should be a fun night for all those hard care fight fans!
